Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Amudra — our Maadams, customisations, gifting, workshops, orders, shipping and more. If you have a question, you’ll probably find the answer here. ✨

  1. What is a Maadam?
A Maadam is a traditional South Indian-inspired niche, traditionally used to light diyas at entrances. Amudra reimagines this beautiful tradition as handcrafted wall-hanging and tabletop décor, bringing together art, tradition and contemporary design.
  2. What can the Maadams be used for?
Maadams are versatile pieces that can be used for home décor, pooja spaces, festive décor, gifting, return gifts and special occasions. They can be displayed on walls, shelves, tables or other little corners that deserve a touch of beauty.
  3. What are the base colours available for the Maadams?
Our Maadams are available primarily in our signature dark brown base, along with select coloured bases. We do not make Maadams with a black base.
  4. What sizes are the Maadams available in?
Our Kutty Maadams are available in four sizes: 7 × 5 inches, 9 × 7 inches, 10 × 8 inches and 13 × 11 inches. Each size is thoughtfully designed to suit different spaces, décor styles and gifting needs.
  5. How can I place an order?
For domestic orders, you can place your order directly through our website. For international orders, please WhatsApp us at 88070 27720 and we’ll be happy to assist you.
  6. How long does shipping take?
Processing time: If your product is in stock, it will usually be dispatched within 3–4 days. For products that are not in stock, please allow 1–2 weeks for us to handcraft and carefully prepare your order before dispatch. For customised products, the processing time will depend on the requested customisation.

Each Maadam is handcrafted with care and attention to detail, so preparation time may vary depending on the product and order.

  7. What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer worldwide shipping through standard, reliable and trusted courier services.
